October is Medical Ultrasound Awareness Month (MUAM)! This is the perfect time to recognise the incredible impact ultrasound technology has made on pregnancy and women’s health care over the past few decades.

At ultrascan ultrasound and fetal medicine centre we use ultrasound imaging every day to provide vital information to expectant mothers about their developing babies. From early pregnancy scans to anatomy scans, growth checks, and Doppler monitoring, ultrasound empowers our team to deliver high quality antenatal care.Medical ultrasound has revolutionised the way clinicians care for women. Quick, safe, and non-invasive ultrasonography provides a window into the womb, allowing evaluation of fetal development and wellbeing. It is an invaluable tool we are proud to offer patients.This October, we celebrate all the sonographers, obstetricians, radiologists, nurses, and other practitioners who skilfully use ultrasound to improve women’s health.
